What is honor roll?

The honor roll is a list of students who have achieved a high level of academic success during a specific grading period. Typically, students must earn a certain grade point average (GPA) or receive a certain combination of grades to qualify for the honor roll. Being on the honor roll is often considered a prestigious accomplishment and can be a source of pride for both students and their families. Schools may recognize students who make the honor roll with certificates, awards, or other forms of recognition. Making the honor roll can also have benefits for students, such as eligibility for certain scholarships or college admissions opportunities.
